I want a Sharp X68k. So bad. The computer was originally released in 1987 and was basically the same hardware as the Capcom CPS arcade system. This allowed for the possibility of near-arcade-quality ports – very impressive for the time. The first game I’d pick up if I ended up with an X68k would be the original Cotton, a cute ’em up developed by Success. Unfortunately, the games were printed on floppy disks. Yes, the floppy kind of floppy disks. And that means data loss. However, the X68k has a retractable handle so that you can carry it around, which pretty much makes up for the whole data loss thing.
